Every PokéPark KANTO pass includes entry to Yomiuriland, the amusement park PokéPark KANTO sits inside. So the two make a natural full day, and you don’t need a second admission ticket. What the pass doesn’t include is Yomiuriland’s rides. Buy single-ride tickets inside, which cost ¥300 to ¥1,200 per ride. The practical plan: be through the Yomiuriland gate before 10:45 to use the PokéPark KANTO app, do PokéPark KANTO in the middle of the day around your Forest time slot, and use Yomiuriland before and after. Check both parks’ hours for your date first. Yomiuriland closes at 17:00 on some weekdays.
How the two parks fit together
From the official PokéPark KANTO FAQ and area rules (as of October 2026):
- Entry: your PokéPark KANTO ticket gets you through the Yomiuriland gate. Inside, follow the signs to PokéPark KANTO.
- Going back and forth: same-day re-entry is allowed for both Yomiuriland and PokéPark KANTO. Tell the staff at the exit. To come back you show a wristband, a hand stamp and your ticket code. With a Trainer’s or Town Pass, you can re-enter Sedge Town. Only the Ace Trainer’s Pass lets you back into the Pokémon Forest.
- Opening times: Yomiuriland never opens later than PokéPark KANTO.
- Food: you can’t take food bought in Yomiuriland into PokéPark KANTO. Eat it in Yomiuriland.
- Smoking: only in Yomiuriland’s smoking areas.
Yomiuriland tickets if you already have a PokéPark KANTO pass
| Yomiuriland ticket (adult, as of October 2026) | Price | Do you need it? |
|---|---|---|
| Admission only | ¥1,800 | No. Your PokéPark KANTO pass includes it. |
| Single-ride tickets | ¥300–1,200 per ride | Yes, for each ride you take. Rides are charged from age 3. |
| One-Day Pass (admission + most rides) | ¥5,900 at the counter, ¥5,500 online | Only if you’ll ride a lot. It also includes admission you already have. |
| Sky Shuttle gondola | ¥300 one way / ¥500 round trip | Not included in any pass. |
Ride ticket booths and machines are inside Yomiuriland, as the PokéPark KANTO FAQ explains. We couldn’t find an official ride-only upgrade for PokéPark KANTO ticket holders. Ask at a Yomiuriland ticket counter if you plan to ride a lot.
Don’t confuse this with Keio’s Amusement Passport for Yomiuriland or the KKday/Klook Yomiuriland set in our Keio one-day pass guide. Those include a Yomiuriland One-Day Pass, not PokéPark KANTO entry. If you have a PokéPark KANTO pass, just buy ordinary train tickets or use an IC card.
Opening hours: check both
Yomiuriland’s hours change by day. Its official calendar for early October 2026 shows, for example:

|---|---|
| Sun 4 Oct | 9:00–20:00 |
| Mon 5 Oct | 10:00–18:00 |
| Tue 6 Oct | 10:00–17:00 |
| Wed 7, Thu 8 Oct | Closed |

| Sat 10 Oct | 10:00–20:00 |
| Sun 11, Mon 12 Oct (holiday) | 9:00–20:00 |
The PokéPark KANTO calendar also shows it closed on most Wednesdays and Thursdays in October 2026, and its hours differ by day. Look up both on the same date.
A timed plan for the day
9:00–10:45: Yomiuriland first
Take the Keio Line and the Sky Shuttle gondola up (see getting there from Shinjuku). On days when Yomiuriland opens at 9:00, you have time for a couple of rides while the lines are short.
- Bandit, Yomiuriland’s signature roller coaster, runs through the forest at up to 110 km/h on a 1,560 m course, in about 3 minutes.
- Sky-Go-LAND, the 59 m Ferris wheel, takes about 14 minutes per turn. Yomiuriland says you can see Mt. Fuji on clear days.
At 10:45, open the PokéPark KANTO app and apply for the Daisuki Shop, the Playhouse and the Gym show lottery. See the app guide.
Late morning to mid-afternoon: PokéPark KANTO
- Walk the Pokémon Forest at your Trainer’s Pass time slot. It takes about 1 hour. See the Forest walking guide.
- Eat in Sedge Town: onigiri, baguette sandwiches, popcorn and Eevee latte art. See the Sedge Town guide.
- Buy timed tickets for Pika Pika Paradise or Vee Vee Voyage at the kiosk.
- Go to the shop and the Playhouse at your booked times.
Mid-afternoon: back to Yomiuriland

Leave by the PokéPark KANTO exit (staff mark you for re-entry), and do a few more Yomiuriland rides. Count your rides. At ¥300–1,200 each, five or six bigger rides add up close to a One-Day Pass.
16:30 onward: parade, shows and lights
Go back into Sedge Town for the evening:
- Outdoor parade (no ticket). Until October 27, 2026, the Pikachu and Eevee carnival runs at 16:30 at the Primarina Fountain and 18:30 at Gym Plaza. A new parade starts October 30.
- Gym show at 16:30 or 17:45 if you won the lottery.
See shows and parade for the October times.
From October 29, 2026, Yomiuriland’s winter illumination Jewellumination starts its 2026–2027 season. On Jewellumination days, Yomiuriland stays open into the evening.
Short version for a weekday
On a 10:00–17:00 day, skip the morning rides. Arrive at 10:00, apply at 10:45, do the Forest and Sedge Town, and leave Yomiuriland rides for any time left. You won’t see the evening parade on a day when the park closes at 17:00.
PokéPark KANTO has no luggage storage. Use Yomiuriland’s coin lockers, and keep only a small bag. Suitcases and rolling luggage aren’t allowed in PokéPark KANTO at all.
Budget for one adult
| Item | Cost (as of October 2026) |

| PokéPark KANTO ride (one) | ¥1,200 |
