Sanrio Puroland uses date-based pricing: as of October 2026, an adult Day Passport costs from ¥3,900 at the ticket counter, and the price on busy days is much higher. To get in you need two things: a passport (ticket) and a free visit reservation for your date. If you buy the official e-passport, the reservation is included; with almost any other ticket you have to make the reservation yourself.
This guide explains the price calendar, the ways to buy, and the mistakes that most often catch out overseas visitors.
The two things you need: passport + visit reservation

Puroland’s official site is very clear on this point:
- A visit reservation alone does not get you in. You must also have a passport ticket.
- A passport alone does not get you in either. If you arrive without a visit reservation, you will be refused entry, and a passport you already bought will not be refunded.
- The reservation is free. If there is space, you can make it on the day itself, and Puroland adds extra same-day slots around park opening time.
So the safe order is: check the date → make sure reservations are still open → buy your passport (or buy the official e-passport, which does both at once).
Ticket types and prices (as of October 2026)
Prices vary by date. The official ticket list gives these starting prices:
| Ticket | Entry | Adult (18–64) | Child (3–17, incl. high school) / Senior (65+) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day Passport | Opening to closing | from ¥3,900 | from ¥2,800 |
| Afternoon Passport | From 14:00 | from ¥2,800 | from ¥2,500 |
- Children aged 2 and under get in free.
- The official price calendar (counter prices) for October to December 2026 shows adult Day Passports between ¥3,900 and ¥6,600 depending on the day. The published price table goes up to ¥6,900, so check your exact date.
- Some dates may not have an Afternoon Passport price. The calendar shows what is on sale for each date.
- The calendar prices are what you pay at the ticket counter. Buying in advance can be a little cheaper (see below).
To see the price for your date, open the calendar on the official passport page. It is in Japanese, but the numbers are easy to read: デイ = Day, アフタヌーン = Afternoon, 大人 = adult, 小人・シニア = child/senior, 休館日 = closed.

Where to buy: your options compared
| Where | Reservation included? | Price vs counter | Changes / cancellation | Good for |

| Official e-passport (puroland.jp) | Yes | ¥100 cheaper | Cancel until 23:59 the day before, via My Page | Most visitors who can register for Sanrio+ |

| EMot e-passport (Odakyu’s app/site) | No | ¥200 cheaper | Date-fixed, no cancellation; not sold for same day | Planning ahead from Japan |
| Keio Amusement Passport (Keio stations) | No | Includes a Keio day pass | Same-day only | Travelling from Shinjuku (新宿) or Shibuya (渋谷) on the Keio Line |
| Ticket counter on the day | No | Counter price | – | Last-minute plans |
| Counter + overseas discount coupon | No | ¥200 off | – | Overseas visitors buying at the gate |
Official e-passport
This is the option Puroland itself recommends. According to the official page:
- The visit reservation is completed when you buy the passport.
- You go straight to the entrance with your smartphone; no need to queue at the ticket counter.
- It is ¥100 cheaper than buying at the counter.
- You can cancel from My Page until 23:59 the day before your visit (some payment methods, such as convenience-store payment, cannot be cancelled after paying).
- You need a Sanrio+ member account to buy.
Buy from the official passport page.
Official overseas partner sites
Puroland’s English overseas page links to external ticket sellers, including Klook, Trip.com, Rakuten Travel Experiences, DHA Mobile, KKday and Myrealtrip. Puroland says that questions about tickets bought from these sites must go to the site you bought from, not to Puroland.
Before buying from any of them, check on the listing whether the visit reservation is included or whether you need to make it separately on the official site.
See the list of partners on Puroland’s overseas visitors page.
You can also book Sanrio Puroland e-tickets on Klook.
EMot e-passport (Odakyu)
EMot is Odakyu Electric Railway’s ticket service. Its Puroland Day Passport is an advance e-ticket that costs ¥200 less than the counter price (from ¥3,700 for adults). It is date-specific, cannot be cancelled or changed, and is not sold for same-day use. You still need to make the visit reservation yourself, and Odakyu asks you to make it before you buy.
Odakyu also sells a version bundled with a round-trip Odakyu Line ticket. See our guide to train + Puroland combo tickets.
Keio Amusement Passport
Sold at ticket machines at Keio Line and Inokashira Line stations, this paper ticket combines a Keio one-day train pass with a Puroland passport. It is the real “train + Puroland” set ticket, and for many visitors from Shinjuku or Shibuya it is the best value. We explain it in detail in the Keio combo ticket guide.
Buying at the ticket counter
- The counter opens 30 minutes before the park opens and stops selling 90 minutes before closing.
- You still need a visit reservation.
- Puroland’s English overseas page has a discount coupon that gives ¥200 off the same-day price at the counter (there are separate coupons for the Day and Afternoon Passports). As of October 2026 it says it is valid until 31 March 2027, one coupon covers up to 5 people, and it cannot be combined with other coupons. Show it at the Puroland ticket counter.
Which ticket should you buy?
- You want the simplest option and can register for Sanrio+: the official e-passport. The reservation is included and you can cancel up to the day before.
- You are taking the Keio Line from Shinjuku or Shibuya: look at the Keio Amusement Passport first. Remember you still need a separate reservation and must swap the ticket at the counter.
- You prefer booking in English on a site you already use: one of the partner sites linked from Puroland’s overseas page. Check whether the reservation is included.
- You decide on the day: make the visit reservation on your phone first, then buy at the counter with the overseas coupon.
Extras: PUROPASS and annual passes
- PUROPASS is Puroland’s paid priority ticket. The advance versions are sold through Lawson Ticket (which needs a Lawson Ticket member account). As of October 2026 they include priority park entry (¥1,500 per person, or ¥2,500 for a pair) and reserved seats for the main parade (¥1,000–¥3,000 depending on the seat). Some theater and ride PUROPASSes are sold inside the park on the day. PUROPASS is not an admission ticket. You still need a passport and a reservation.
- Annual passports exist (from ¥23,000 for an adult digital pass), but they have exclusion dates and are mainly for local repeat visitors.
Checklist before you pay
- Is the park open on your date? Puroland has closed days, usually midweek.
- Are visit reservations still available for your date?
- Which price applies? Day or Afternoon, and adult or child/senior (child prices cover ages 3–17 and high-school students).
- Does your ticket include the reservation? If not, make it separately.
- Does your ticket let you go straight to the entrance, or do you need to swap it at the counter? Paper tickets such as the Keio Amusement Passport must be swapped at the counter.
- Can you cancel it? Most advance tickets other than the official e-passport cannot be cancelled.
Planning the rest of the day
Puroland is about 5 minutes on foot from Tama Center Station (多摩センター駅). If you are coming from central Tokyo, read how to get there from Shinjuku. If you want to stay nearby so you can arrive at opening time, see where to stay near Sanrio Puroland.
Prices and hours change. Check the official site before you go.
