From Tokyo Station, go to Shinjuku first and change to the Keio or Odakyu Line (about 1 hour 10 minutes in total, according to GO TOKYO). From Shibuya, take the Keio Inokashira Line and change to the Keio Line (¥360 one way). From Haneda Airport, a direct airport bus runs to Keio Tama Center for ¥2,000. On the day we checked, though, there was a five-hour gap in the morning departures.

From Tokyo Station

GO TOKYO’s route is:

  1. Take the JR Chuo Line or the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line from Tokyo Station to Shinjuku.
  2. At Shinjuku, change to the Keio Line (to Keio Tama Center) or the Odakyu Line (to Odakyu Tama Center).
  3. Walk about 5 minutes to Puroland.

Total: about 1 hour 10 minutes.

At Shinjuku, the Keio Line is usually the simpler choice: a Limited Express bound for Hashimoto (橋本) reaches Keio Tama Center in about 30 minutes without a change (Puroland’s official access guide). Avoid Keio trains bound for Takaosanguchi or Keio-Hachioji. Tama Center is on the Keio Sagamihara Line, which branches off at Chofu. If you board one by mistake, change at Chofu. See our step-by-step Shinjuku guide for the platform-to-park details.

Have a JR Pass? The JR section to Shinjuku is covered, but the Keio and Odakyu Lines are not JR, so you pay that part separately. From Shinjuku the Keio fare to Keio Tama Center is ¥360 (¥356 with an IC card).

Another option for JR users: the Tama Monorail connects Tachikawa (立川), on the JR Chuo Line, with Tama Center in about 23 minutes (Puroland’s access page). This is useful if you are already west of Shinjuku. From Tokyo Station, though, it is generally simpler to change at Shinjuku.

From Shibuya

Shibuya is the terminal of the Keio Inokashira Line, so you can make the whole trip on Keio:

  1. Take the Keio Inokashira Line from Shibuya to Meidaimae (明大前).
  2. Change to the Keio Line there. Take a train going to Hashimoto (橋本) if possible. Otherwise take a train to Chofu (調布) and change to the Sagamihara Line toward Hashimoto.
  3. Get off at Keio Tama Center and walk about 5 minutes.

Keio’s official fare table lists Shibuya to Keio Tama Center at the same price as from Shinjuku: ¥360 (¥356 IC). Because both lines are Keio, the Keio Amusement Passport (Keio day pass + Puroland passport, ¥4,460 adult) can be bought at Shibuya’s Inokashira Line ticket machines. See our combo ticket guide.

You can also take the JR Yamanote Line to Shinjuku and use the Shinjuku route. Compare the two in a route planner, because the faster one depends on the time of day.

From Haneda Airport

Option 1: the direct airport bus (no changes)

An airport bus runs between Haneda Airport and Keio Tama Center Station, also stopping at Seiseki-Sakuragaoka (聖蹟桜ヶ丘) and Minami-Osawa (南大沢). Keio Bus and Airport Transport Service (Airport Limousine) operate it.

  • Fare: ¥2,000 adult, ¥1,000 child (as of October 2026).
  • Journey time: Puroland’s access page gives about 90–140 minutes. In the timetable we checked (Sunday 4 October 2026), the 7:25 departure from Terminal 3 was due at Keio Tama Center at 9:15, and the 7:40 from Terminal 1 also arrived at 9:15. Traffic can make it longer.
  • Departures from Haneda (that day): 13 buses from Terminal 3, from 7:25 to 22:15. After the 7:25 bus, the next one was not until 12:25. If you land mid-morning, you may be better off on the train.
  • Booking: seats can be reserved online through the Airport Limousine site, with booking accepted until 5 minutes before departure.
  • One of the buses on this route is a Sanrio Puroland-themed bus (“Sanrio Puroland-go”), run with Keio Bus. Puroland says to check with Keio Bus for which vehicle runs when.

Timetables change by date, so check the Airport Limousine timetable for your day.

Going back to Haneda

The same bus runs from Keio Tama Center to Haneda. On 4 October 2026 the timetable showed eight departures from Keio Tama Center: 4:35, 5:20, 6:20, 8:25, 10:00, 11:00, 17:05 and 18:00. There was nothing in the early afternoon, so plan your flight-day schedule around these times. The early buses can work well for a morning flight if you stay near Puroland the night before.

Option 2: train via central Tokyo

GO TOKYO puts the train trip at about 1 hour 30 minutes. It involves several changes through central Tokyo before you join the Keio or Odakyu Line. With large suitcases the bus is easier. With light bags and a mid-morning arrival, the train avoids the wait for the next bus.

Arriving at Tama Center

  • Keio Tama Center: leave through the Central Gate and turn left.
  • Odakyu Tama Center (小田急多摩センター): leave through the West Gate and turn left.
  • Walk straight along the promenade, turn left at the crossroads past “Oka-no-ue Plaza”, and Puroland is ahead. The entrance is on the 3rd floor. There is a wheelchair ramp to the left of the stairs at the promenade entrance.
  • Puroland has cashless lockers on the 3rd floor (¥300–¥1,000), and the 3F information counter keeps larger items for ¥1,000 each.

Which base works best?

If you are flying into Haneda and want Puroland at opening the next morning, it can make sense to stay near Tama Center or along the Keio Line instead of in central Tokyo. See day trip or overnight? and where to stay near Sanrio Puroland. For IC cards, mobile data and luggage, see our travel prep guide.
